Description

How we love to find these little JCII / JMDC stickers on our eBay and Goodwill wins. JCII stands for ‘Japan Camera Industry Institute’ – or maybe more precisely – ‘The Japan(Nippon) Camera and optical instruments Inspection and testing Institute’. JMDC? The Japan Machinery Design Centre.

The numbering on these stickers seems baffling to anyone who’s looked into it, and the jury’s out on whether these stickers meant the ‘design’ passed a certain standard, or the camera/lens itself. This one’s from a Canon AE-1 Program on Ken Rockwell’s site.

I have this in the purple. The quality of the t shirt and prints is very good. It been through a number of washes now and retained its colour and shape

I have several t-shirts from 35mmtees and this is probably my favourite. I have this “Passed” sticker on many of my cameras and lenses and I happen to think it’s extremely cool! The image quality is superb and the quality of the material is too – and the fit is perfect. Top stuff.
